- 1 pound lump crab meat, drained
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- Combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, beaten egg, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper in a large bowl. Fold gently to keep the crab meat intact.
- Add the breadcrumbs and fold lightly until the mixture holds its shape.
- Form the mixture into patties and place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Brush the tops of the patties with melted butter.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 16 to 18 minutes, or until golden brown.
Notes
For best results, use fresh lump crab meat and be gentle while mixing.
