- 3 cups Shredded Chicken (Rotisserie chicken is recommended for flavor)
- 1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
- 1 cup Sour Cream (Greek yogurt can be used as a substitute)
- 1 cup Chicken Broth (Low-sodium is preferred)
- 1 box Stuffing Mix (Cornbread stuffing adds a Southern flavor)
- 1/2 cup Butter (Melted, for drizzling)
- 1 cup Vegetables (Steamed broccoli or bell peppers can be added)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Herbs (Thyme or parsley can enhance flavor)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix together the shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chicken broth in a large bowl.
- Stir in the stuffing mix, melted butter, and vegetables. If you want to add fresh herbs, now is the time!
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes or until it is bubbly and golden on top.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Use leftover rotisserie chicken for more flavor and ease. Feel free to add any vegetables your family enjoys. For a crispy topping, add crushed crackers or fried onions during the last 5-10 minutes of baking.
