Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb steak (cut into strips)
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add steak strips seasoned with salt, pepper, and Cajun seasoning; cook until browned (about 3-4 minutes). Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, sauté diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic until softened (about 3-4 minutes).
- Stir in chicken broth and uncooked penne pasta; bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until pasta is cooked through (10-12 minutes).
- Mix in heavy cream and return the cooked steak to the skillet; cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
Notes
Adjust the level of Cajun seasoning to suit your taste. For a healthier version, substitute heavy cream with Greek yogurt.
