Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat, add sliced sausage, and cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
- Stir in minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, smoked paprika, and black pepper; cook for another 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
- Toss the cooked penne pasta into the skillet, mixing well to coat with the sauce.
- Serve warm with chopped green onions and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese if desired.
Notes
For extra flavor, grill the sausage before slicing. Adjust honey and soy sauce based on preference. Add vegetables for more nutrition.
