Ingredients

  • 2 cans of crescent roll dough
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and lay it in the bottom of a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  3. Mix the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla until smooth. Spread this mixture evenly over the dough in the dish.
  4. Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough and place it on top of the cream cheese layer.
  5. Pour the melted butter over the top layer of dough.
  6. Mix the powdered sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and sprinkle it over the buttered dough.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool, then slice and serve.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Enjoy with honey, chocolate, ice cream, or whipped cream.
