A spicy twist on traditional deviled eggs with Cajun seasoning, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons chopped chives
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs by placing them in a pot, covering them with water, and bringing to a boil. Cook for 9-12 minutes.
  2. Remove the eggs from heat and let them cool in an ice bath.
  3. Once cool, peel the eggs and cut them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a bowl.
  4. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
  6. Top with chopped chives and a sprinkle of paprika.
  7. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Garnish with extra chives and paprika for presentation.
