- 1 lb spicy Cajun sausage
- 1 lb chicken breast
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 1 medium onion
- 1 red bell pepper
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet. Sauté sliced sausage and diced chicken until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add chopped onion, sliced bell pepper, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in Cajun seasoning, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Simmer until the sauce thickens slightly, about 5-10 minutes.
- Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente, then drain.
- Toss the cooked linguine with the sauce mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley and optional Parmesan cheese.
Notes
Use fresh ingredients for enhanced flavor. Adjust spice level with milder sausage if desired. Add more vegetables for added nutrition.
