  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced andouille sausage and sear until browned and crisp.
  2. Add the butter, sliced onions, and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook them until they soften and absorb the flavors.
  3. Season the shrimp with smoked paprika, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet. Sear until the shrimp turn opaque and lightly crisp.
  5. Stir everything together, add lemon juice, and finish with chopped parsley. Serve hot.
