- 1 lb Italian sausage
- 12 oz rotini or penne pasta
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced bell pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the Italian sausage, breaking it apart, and cook until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
- Stir in the diced onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic; sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain well.
- Mix the BBQ sauce and ranch dressing into the skillet with the sausage mixture.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir until it’s well coated in the sauce.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the pasta; stir until melted and creamy.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste before serving warm.
Notes
Serve warm, pairs well with a salad or garlic bread. Add fresh herbs for extra flavor.
