- 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded or diced
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup honey
- 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sweet corn (canned or frozen)
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1/2 cup diced onion
Instructions
- Sauté diced onion and bell pepper in a large skillet over medium heat until softened (3-4 minutes).
- Add cooked chicken, BBQ sauce, honey, and chicken broth. Stir well and simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in uncooked pasta. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes or until pasta is tender.
- Mix in heavy cream, corn, and garlic powder. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through. Serve warm.
Notes
Serve warm and optionally sprinkle with fresh parsley or extra BBQ sauce. Pairs well with a side salad or garlic bread.
