- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 8 oz penne or linguine pasta
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: red pepper flakes, chopped parsley, grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Cook pasta in salted water until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Season chicken with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and optional red pepper flakes; cook until golden brown.
- Add soy sauce and honey to the skillet; simmer until slightly thickened.
- Toss cooked pasta with the chicken and gradually add reserved pasta water until well-coated.
- Serve warm garnished with parsley and Parmesan cheese.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in the soy sauce and honey mixture for about 30 minutes before cooking. Adjust the level of heat with red pepper flakes to your liking.
