A refreshing dessert featuring the sweetness of strawberries combined with chewy tapioca pearls, perfect for warm days.

  • Total Time: 40 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • ½ cup small tapioca pearls
  • 3 cups chopped strawberries
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon strawberry jam
  • ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 jar coconut jellies (nata de coco)

Instructions

  1. Bring a medium pot of water to a boil.
  2. Add the tapioca pearls and reduce to a gentle boil. Cook for 25-30 minutes until fully translucent.
  3. Rinse the tapioca under cold water, drain, and transfer to a large bowl.
  4. In a blender, add half the chopped strawberries, coconut milk, regular milk, and strawberry jam. Blend until smooth and pour this mixture into the bowl with the tapioca.

  6. Enjoy immediately or chill in the fridge for an hour before serving.

Notes

Use ripe strawberries for maximum sweetness. Adjust the sweetness with sweetened condensed milk as per your taste.
