Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can green beans (15 oz), drained
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.5 oz)
- ½ cup milk
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded, divided
- 1 bag frozen Tater Tots (32 oz)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until fully browned, breaking it up as it cooks. Drain excess grease.
- Combine the browned beef, drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl. Stir until evenly mixed.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and arrange a single layer of frozen Tater Tots on the bottom.
- Spread half of the beef mixture over the Tater Tots and sprinkle with half of the cheddar cheese.
- Add a second layer of Tater Tots, then top with the remaining beef mixture and remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake uncovered for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the Tater Tots are crisp and the casserole is hot and bubbly.
- Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before scooping and serving.
Notes
For a crispy top, broil the casserole for a few minutes at the end of baking. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
