Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb flank steak (thinly sliced)
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup pepper jack cheese (shredded)
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced flank steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and simmer on low heat while stirring continuously. Gradually add shredded pepper jack cheese until melted.
- Return cooked penne pasta and flank steak to the skillet, mixing gently to coat in sauce. Heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Make sure to slice the flank steak thinly for quick and even cooking. Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
