Ingredients

  • 8 oz penne pasta
  • 1 lb flank steak (thinly sliced)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup pepper jack cheese (shredded)
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sliced flank steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and simmer on low heat while stirring continuously. Gradually add shredded pepper jack cheese until melted.
  5. Return cooked penne pasta and flank steak to the skillet, mixing gently to coat in sauce. Heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

Make sure to slice the flank steak thinly for quick and even cooking. Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
