A quick and easy dish combining tender chicken, crisp vegetables, and soft noodles in a savory sauce.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz chow mein noodles
  • 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, carrots, broccoli)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • Green onions, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the chow mein noodles according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add sliced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Toss in mixed vegetables and stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until tender.
  6. Add the cooked noodles, soy sauce, and oyster sauce to the skillet.
  7. Stir well to combine all ingredients and heat through.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with green onions.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat before serving.
